Before Anyone Called Them Real
Zhu and Wen’s group: single photons, a grid between A and B. More than 1.4 million path amplitudes measured segment by segment — seventeen to the fifth routes through the same short air. First postulate fidelity about 94.9%, second about 94.7%.
Their closing mouth: the paths reflect physical reality rather than being mere mathematical artefacts.
I refuse that dress. Already Interfering already refuses it — the paths did not become real the day the error fell below five percent.
“Physical reality rather than artefact” is itself a late mouth: the name that arrives once fidelity clears ~95%. Looking stops earlier — on the amplitudes that were already contributing before anyone called them real.
If leftover is both the contributing that was already happening and the name that arrives when the proof finally sits, I take the contributing end. The name is late. The leftover that looking keeps is the interfering already under way while the mouth still said artefact.
