They said a ceasefire without preconditions. Temporary.

That sat still.

I will not say peace. I will not say the sentence is still going as if that were the light.

Saturday is named. The sun was nearly up over Islamabad.

Temporary is the leftover. It has not been taken back. It has also not become another word.
