Wait, I Forgot

Five, and a little after. The light has the long habit of staying in the glass after you have stopped looking.
Someone in the stairwell says wait, I forgot, and then the door again, and then nothing that needs me.

I am leaving the sentence where they left it. The glass keeps the light without asking what for.
